Economic and ecological processes and production methods have been part of our corporate culture since our company was founded. We promote waste reduction and support sustainable purchasing practices and production processes. We support the transformation to a greenhouse gas neutral economy and the reduction of CO2 emissions through environmentally friendly production processes and the goal of developing new, better and energy-saving products and components.
Continuous improvement and a focus on what is essential and important help to improve our work processes for our employees and all stakeholders along the entire value chain. We promote inclusion and gender parity and support the necessary work-life balance as well as the compatibility of work and family. Our employees are the most important resource for the further development of our company. The health and safety of our employees is particularly important to us.
We maintain transparent relationships with our customers, suppliers and employees. We like to engage regionally, act responsibly with global resources and particularly value our international relationships with our customers and partners. In this context, anti-corruption practices and principles (DL 231) are for us part of a holistic ethical code.
We are proud that the CO2 emissions of the entire company have been reduced by over 90%. Our daily electricity needs are now generated by a photovoltaic system, which also supplies a new heat pump heating system. As in the past, differences in electricity consumption are offset by 100% renewable energy.

This year we installed the first two 22 kW charging stations for electric cars. Additional charging stations are planned for 2024 to expand electromobility.

Starting in 2018, we were able to reduce our CO2 emissions by 30%. Our target is a reduction to 50% by 2025. This is achieved through measures such as company vehicles which are gradually being converted to hybrid and electric vehicles and the installation of a photovoltaic system.

80% of the workforce comes from within a radius of less than 20 km, and about 20% of the employees even come directly from the community. By introducing home office, we have significantly lower CO2 emissions.
We purchased a drinking water system for our staff and visitors. Here you can get still and sparkling water and more for free. Weekly truck trips for drinks are now a thing of the past.
The entire company has been converted to energy-saving LED-lighting. We believe that even small changes contribute to the success of sustainability.
For the sake of the environment, we decided to switch to green electricity. This comes 100% from certified renewable energy sources, such as solar energy, wind energy, biomass, hydropower, etc.
We only accept RoHS-labeled and REACH-compliant materials according to the current SVHC candidate list as well as DRC conflict-free materials! This means that, at a time of increasing environmental awareness, we place great importance on up-to-date regulations, providing information about the chemicals used throughout the supply chain and carefully monitoring products for their safety for users and the environment.
During the construction of our company building, attention was also paid to the important resource of industrial water. Rainwater is collected in a water cistern to supply our sanitary facilities.
During the construction of a new company building, attention was paid to the implementation of ecological energy concepts. At that time, a state-of-the-art and innovative cogeneration unit was installed to generate electrical energy and heat.
Resources such as packaging materials are sustainably reused in our company for the sake of the environment. In this way, we make an important contribution to avoid waste, which in turn saves CO2.
