Our motor starter-brake combinations — also known as softstarters and brake device units — offer you a reliable solution for the smooth starting, safe control, and controlled deceleration of AC motors. As high-performance AC motor controls, they are suitable for a variety of applications and motors. We offer motor starter-brake combinations with a variety of technical specifications in the power range from 1.5 kW to 30 kW, for currents from 12 A to 60 A, and for voltages from 200 V to 575 V.

Motor-Start-Brake Combinations – Applications
Our motor start-brake combinations have been tested for the following applications: saws, milling machines, planers, cutting machines, drills, grinders, circular saws, band saws, conveyor systems, belt drives, chain drives, winding machines, centrifuges, fans and blowers, pumps, compressors, mills, crushers, presses, agitators, packaging machines, woodworking machines, metalworking machines, and other machines with rotating drives that require controlled motor startup and rapid or precisely controlled deceleration.
Our standard – Your advantage
The systems VersiBrake and VersiComb meet the requirements of the German Trade Association (Technical Committee for Wood) according to the Test Principles Wood working machines GS-HO-01. The VersiComb and the VersiBrake.L (LP)devices are certified with the BG quality mark. Upon request this is also possible for further versions. All braking systems sold by PETER electronic are “made in Germany”.
