AC drives VersiDrive i 3PRO - now in five new power outputs available with IP20 class
With immediate effect, we offer our successful VersiDrive i 3PRO AC drive series for speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motors and standard asynchronous motors in particularly compact and cost-effective versions. The models available to date for use in high-performance motors in equipment classes IP55 and IP66 are now complemented by particularly compact and cost-effective models with IP20 class. Five sizes and power levels from 0.75 to 250 kW offer maximum flexibility when it comes to choosing the right solution for the respective required area of use.
Quickly integrated and optimised
The VersiDrive i 3PRO product series sets standards in the open & closed loop speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motors and standard asynchronous motors. The AC drives offer the perfect combination of high power and user-friendliness and are equipped for even the most sophisticated applications. The efficient basic equipment of the Pro series together with numerous on-board functions provides even more individual performance. Extensive I/O and communication interface options ensure that the converters can be integrated into a large number of control systems in no time at all.
Regardless of whether for electric pumps, ventilators and fans, cranes, saws, conveyor systems or even packaging and processing machines – the AC drives reliably ensure precise control of high-performance motors, including for drives with heavy load. To achieve this, the converters allow a possible overload of 150% for 60 seconds.
Depending on the requirements and version, the compact, robust and reliable AC drives can be mounted directly on the machine or, thanks to DIN rail mounting, can be integrated in the control cabinet. In particular, the new variants with IP20 class do without a dust and watertight enclosure in favour of smaller dimensions and lower weight.
The devices are easy to operate via an OLED display. The simple parameter structure and effectively selected factory defaults ensure fast and easy commissioning.
